In commemoration of the haunting holiday, “Halloween Boxes” will also be dropped by fallen combatants this week on the battlefields of the Land of Chaos. The AP shop will also have all costumes discounted 20% to ensure players have the opportunity to really dress for the occasion.

Additionally, this week’s update includes a small patch to the LOCO chat system which expands language support across all chat channels. Players speaking English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, and Turkish should all now be able to easily communicate with friends and foes alike.

In this first of many planned updates, two furry companions that specialize in looting - Hwanggu and Patrasche – have been added. Both of them will automatically pick up enemy loot drops and return them to a character’s inventory, allowing players to focus on taking out the next enemy while their pets collect the goods. Future pets will be able to help out with a variety of other tasks, including direct support in battle, and some will even have their own health, mana points for skills, and levels.

To obtain one of these four-legged companions, players simply need to visit the Florensia Item Shop and purchase a Spirit Pendant. These pendants can be equipped just like any other item, and they give players the option to summon their new partner whenever they’d like.

AAKbah has no recollection of his past, and no idea how he became the formidable opponent he is today. Waking up chained in the middle of a dark, empty dungeon, he was left to his own devices and has never figured out who placed him in solitude. With an insatiable rage burning within him, AAKbah broke free from his remote prison and now fights to uncover and take revenge upon those who transformed him into a monster. In the depths of his tortured mind, all he vaguely recalls is a lone woman looking down upon him in captivity.

AAKbah is a close-combat expert, utilizing his brute strength and dark arts to deal out massive damage to foes and structures alike. As AAKbah, players can increase the damage they do to their opponents by stringing together specific skills. When manning the frontline, players may want to consider using Bone Spear followed by Splatter Press, both ranged attacks, to reach opponents in the midfield before rushing in for the kill. When in close combat, Gore Tentacle can be used to hold an opponent in place and set up the doomed adversary for AAKbah’s ultimate damage dealing skill, Berserk Rage.

As an example of how different the characters in LOCO can be, consider the fighting styles of Very Mary Bell, the “master of confusion,” and Kilmor, the “iron wall.” Very Mary Bell relies on teleportation and illusions to avoid attacks and confound her enemies, making her a sneaky-yet-powerful offensive character. Only the truly observant even realize she’s nearby before she unleashes an attack.

Kilmor, meanwhile, is built to survive the heavy damage sustained in close-quarters combat. Despite his dedication to tracking down the worst inhabitants of the Land of Chaos, the bounty hunter known as Randy Rozz has a truly checkered past. Easter is almost here, and the Lovely Dodos have returned to the forests and fields of Florensia.
