We’ve had a couple of request to write about the 2 moons / Dekaron mouse modes and keyboard shortcuts. So here goes, this was taken from the discussion boards here.

Mouse Controls
Mode A
Left Mouse Button
Clicking:
* Move to the selected point
* Auto-Attack monsters
* +drag to pick up, throw away, or equip items
* +drag to assign skills to Quickslots
* Select items and skills
* Auto-attack a monster.
* Click on various buttons
Click and hold on ground: Auto Movement
Ctrl + click on character: Activate character interactive window
Shift + click: Shoot arrows when clicked on monsters or ground.
Shift + hold click: auto-shoot arrows
Mouse Wheel
Turning the wheel: Camera Zoom in/out
Click: Resets view
Right Mouse Button
Click:
* Select field/monster
* Purchase items from the shop.
* Use disposable items.
Click on a skill to use it.
Hold click + drag mouse to change the camera view
Mode B
Left Mouse Button
Clicking:
* Move to the selected point
* Select and attack monsters
* Pick up, throw away, or equip items
* +drag to pick up, throw away, or equip items
* +drag to assign skills to Quickslots
* Click on various buttons
Double-click: auto-attack a monster.
Ctrl + click on character: Activate character interactive window
Using skill: Select a monster, and select numbers 1-9 in the keypad.

Click to reset the camera view

Click:
* Auto-purchase items from the shop.
* Use disposable items.
Click on a skill after selecting it: Use the skill.
Hold click + move mouse: Change the viewing angle of camera

2 Moons Expedition is a Online fantasy RPG. Made by Acclaim. And directed by David Perry. It is an adaptation of the Korean MMORPG Dekaron produced by GameHi For the North American market. 2 Moons comes with a new story line.

Installation

After installing the 1.1GB download and starting the game for the first time it goes online to download updates and game data. For me this was a total of 750+ files. Funny enough the window that opens is still called Dekaron.

Story Line

Overall Story
They called it The Corruption, those charged with the telling of the story. When the two moons aligned, the exiled king, Rictus, bid his magician open the gate and unleash the pestilence of the Pitborn and their dark ruler Abaddon upon Haran, The Immortal Land. In his hubris, Rictus thought he might control them, that he might herald his conquering of Haran on the crest of a black wave of the accursed. But there could be no alliance with Abaddon, the lord of the pit whose blessing is pain, whose enchantment is the wage of sorrow. He bound Rictus in the darkness of the abyss and every time a man fell to claw, tooth or blade, every time a woman or child burned to black flesh, choked to blue or starved to sallow skin, Rictus died their death and lived to die again. Description

Game play doesn’t seem to hog up all of the resources, on this laptop which is a standard sub 500 Dollar laptop. There is some lag from time to time but it’s to be expected it is after all a Fantasy RPG that you play online and the network here is always very busy with some downloads. 2 Moons has all of the to be expected functionality built in. A messenger, a quest notice window and even a shout-box for quick messages. It has a lot of keyboard shortcuts for those of us that like to stay on the keyboard when we game.
