FFXIV Guide Review: FFXIV Domination
So, as I mentioned to you a few days ago, I constantly am reviewing different gaming guide (more of these reviews to come mind you), and believe it or not – but you cannot always believe anything you read about those guides from huge companies. If you read my Killer Guides review of their FFXIV guide, then you’ll know exactly what I mean. Of course, Killer Guides isn’t the only place out there with FFXIV guides and I’m ready to review another one for you: FFXIV Domination.com. Let’s start by saying that the FFXIV guide on FFXIV Domination is way beyond what you’ll find in some of the other guides for this new game and I’ll show you why:
Let’s start out with content: right away, I noticed that the number of pages in FFXIV Domination’s guide far exceeds other FFXIV guides I’ve seen. You will even see just from their website that they not only offer you a leveling guide in this FFXIV guide, but you also get a Gil guide and maps to go along with the information. Plus, it has separate sections for each of the major cities in the game: Ul’dah, Limsa Lominsa, and Gridania. Ok, for me, this is a great sign, as you can see right away that this isn’t just some loosely put together guide like others out there to make a quick buck.
When you get into the content of FFXIV Domination’s guide, you’ll also notice right away that you’re actually going to get what you paid for. Why is that? Well, personally, I was looking at the levels over 20 to see how detailed the information was and how quickly a gamer could use this to level up. There are well over 30 pages of information just on leveling from 20 up to 50, including a complete levequest list, guildleves, and factionleves as well. Each area has it’s own list of specific quests, and then you’ll find a power level guide that will show you all of the different levequests from 30 on up to 50. It’s pretty easy to follow the information in this FFXIV guide and get to level 50 pretty fast.
As far as the Gil and crafting guide goes, it’s beyond good too. You will find all the information you need here to really rack up the Gil through grinding, crafting, and selling items you make. I was totally impressed with this area of this FFXIV guide as well. In fact, some of the things that are in this area of the guide I didn’t even know yet. Of course, those that have been playing through the beta might know a bit of what’s inside here, but you won’t know all of it I’m sure.
The maps that you will find in this FFXIV guide are also very well done and easy to follow. When you are in one area of a city and not sure where to go, the maps that you’ll find here offer you a very detailed layout of everything to help get you started and moving in the right place.
Of course, you want to know about the price right? Well, I was actually surprised to find that this FFXIV guide is priced the same as other FFXIV guides out there that aren’t even half as good. To me, this is yet another perk of FFXIV Domination’s guide.
