Most of the veteran WoW players know all about the problems that can arise when the Horde/Alliance ratios are off on a server, yet newer players may not completely understand what this hype is all about. Well, let’s go through some of the main issues that pop up when there is an imbalance in the forces of the factions.
Well, one of the main problems that will show up is the obvious issues with PvP play. Say that there are more Horde on a server than there are Alliance, and you play Horde. You can easily find yourself in spots where you are ganked by a large group of Allies and there is nothing you can do about it because there aren’t enough Horde players on your server to counter them – or vise versa.
How about in battlegrounds? If you have a massive imbalance, you will always have one side that will win, and one side that will lose – which will cause the losing side to never gain the points that they would from winning a specific battleground area.
So, what do you do to counter this? Well, one way is to do some research on your servers and find one that is well balanced. Or, if you prefer the hard road, you can always transfer over a high level toon to a server that needs more of your faction to help. The choice is up to you my friend.
Have an opinion on this? Let me know.
